A One Night Only History of Broadway Song & Dance

@ The Town Hall
Sept. 19th, 2022

"It’s an awesomely big subject, but Broadway by the Year will bring it to you in an explosion of tap, ballroom, jazz, ballet, and more! From George M. Cohan, Fred & Adele Astaire, and the dancing feet of 42nd Street, right up to the brilliance of Andy Blankenbeuler’s choreography for In the Heights and Hamilton — and the world of Broadway dance that swirls in-between."

GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK CONCERT SERIES: Vol 7

Virtual
Jul. 30th, 2020

Cabaret producer Scott Siegel, well known for his multiple concert series at the Town Hall and Feinstein’s/54 Below, has developed a promising model for his virtual programming: He crowdsources funding in advance so he can actually pay the performers who are singing remotely. In this seventh episode, recorded and edited in advance, Siegel serves as host for a lineup that includes Karen Ziemba, Emily Skinner, Kerry O’Malley, Tony DeSare, Mark Nadler, Michael Winther, Ben Jones, Dongwoo Kang, Q-Lim, Anais Reno and Luana Psaros.

54 Sings Broadways Greatest HiTS

@ Feinstein's 54 Below
Nov. 30th, 2019

“Scott Siegel’s 54 Sings Broadway’s Greatest Hits is among the most successful series of cabaret shows of the 21st century. The reason for the series’ success (every show is sold out) is that Siegel gathers together some of the very best voices from the Broadway, cabaret, and for this show, the opera world to perform a well-thought-out collection of some of the best songs from Broadway musicals,”

 ~Ron Forman, Cabaret Scenes Magazine

"Set in 1979, Becoming Nancy concerns David Starr, a talented high schooler in East Dulwich who idolizes the likes of Blondie, Sting, and Kate Bush—and has been cast as the female lead Nancy in the school's production of Oliver! The unconventional casting sends shockwaves through David’s small town, first with David, and then with his parents, his aunt, and his classmates."

"A national showcase that introduces New York audiences to the next generation of up-and-coming talent as chosen by a panel of discerning judges from among the most outstanding new graduates from acclaimed institutions.
