Hello! I’m Luana - a first-generation Brazilian/California-raised actor, singer, mover, and musician based in New York City.

My parents both left Brazil to pursue careers in music, so growing up, music was always a huge part of my foundation. But in 7th grade, when there was no choir class, I joined theater. After my *star turn* as Betty the duck in the school production of Honk!, I was hooked!

I got my BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch’s New Studio on Broadway, where I fell in love with developmental work through collaborations with the GMTW program and being part of bringing brand new stories to life!

Outside of performing, I continue my exploration of life through attempting every hobby known to man, travelling with friends and family, cooking in my tiny NYC kitchen, and making silly sketches with my partner Ryan. I hope to be a part of telling impactful stories, and strive to bring soul, humor, and humanity to my life and every role I play.
